Default do you have to pull motor to replace spur gear?

anyone know if i can replace spur gear without pulling motor?

well if ya take the screws off the tranny and take the radio box out, you can tilt the tranny up and get the spur out. but that ends up takin as much time as taken the motor off does, so i would just pull the motor

yes...not sure how i did it cause i wasnt realy bashin hard ..but i guess the factory spur isnt real tuff....i stil have factory clutchbell also..im thinking on putting the 18th clutchbell on it for alittle more top end.....the 15 tooth has alot of grunt onthe low end....think the 18 will make that much difference?
