Default Mtronics failsafe don't fit

Hi all,

I've just tried to fit my Mtronics failsafe and the connectors don't fit my futaba set up. Any ideas how I can get 'em connected? Neither the radio gear or failsafe were supplied with any other connectors..

cheers

just go down to your LHS and ask. Take your truck with you or take a pic of the connector you need and they will either have one, be able to get one or tell you where to get one. Failing that there is always the biggest shop in the world called the world wide web. If you cant find one online then you really are in a pickle!

You have 2 type's of connectors on the market. A J conn. is Futaba, and a S/JR/Z conn. If you want to make your Fut conn. work you need to remove the ridge on the side of your J conn.
Hope that helps.[8D]

Hi all,

I had the futaba connectors (look like the normal flat ones with a little flange on one side).
I sorted it by shaving the flange off with a knife!

Fits great now

cheers,
