SS 4.6 all the way. Get the 25RTR if your afraid to build the kit. HPI's directions are the best in the industry, so if you have a 3rd grade education or better it should be easy. If your new to building kits take your time, so what if it takes you a day or two to get it running. And if you get the RTR you'll be taking apart eventually any way.

I would have to agree. My first rc was an RTR amd whenever anything went wrong I wouldn't have a clue how to fix it. When I bought my Savage I made sure it was the kit form. That way you know the truck better from the start and also have a full and very detailed set of instructions on how to put it all together again when the inevitable happens. Get the kit, you wont regret it.

Kit.
Although here in the UK you can get an SS 25 kit for 250 pounds, about 150 pounds less than the new 4.6, so you may want to go for that instead. I did.
