The hitec is nice but i prefer the JR line of metal geared, either the 590 or 650, obviously if you are able get the 650, it gets the job done!

The Hitec is metal geared. I use one in mine along with the cam type servo saver upgrade(included in the new ones) and the ball bearings. Sitting still on medium length carpet my setup has more than enough power to turn the wheels. The servo cost me about 45 dollars from hobbyhaven and I can get 6v 1100mah hump packs that work excellent for about 6 bucks apiece.

i had the hitec hs-5645 and it had more then enough power infact i had to adjust my end point so i don't over steer and flip. Since i sold my SS 4.6 i now use the servo for my FG throttle and brake.
