Is there an eco in here?...
shave off as much weight as you can everywhere, also make it low and wide with like some off set rims.

those may be ok but Ive read some bad things about some of the CF ones, not sure about them in particular.
You could do alot of weight reduction for free though, like shaving bumpers and drilling holes in the stock plates as durability wouldnt be an issue for a racing set up.

40 Series Rims and tires help performance (especially cornering) a lot. Shave weight, and if don't care about your motor lean 'er out just before the final race. Then go buy a collari 30 with the new sponsors you pick up . Seriously, get as much practice time on the track as you can. Nothing beats practicing on the track. Learn when to turn, when to let off the gas, how much and how fast to get back on, brake at the right time, so on and so on. The fastest or most expensive truck will mean squat if you cant make it around the track with out have the turn marshalls picking you up every two turns. Enjoy

If your racing on a hard packed dirt/clay track, get some proline "bow-ties" They'll give you lots of traction. One other piece of advise is to go to the track and see what everyone else is using and ask questions, just don't be annoying, I hate that.[:@]
