Looks pretty good. I do not do anything fancy on mine as they get beat up to quickly. I keep saying I will do one for show and have one for go but never have yet. [8D]

I agree with 46u. it does look nice but why? I too painted one up. It was silver and orange with yellow flames on it. It looked awsome but the bodies get beat up so fast it turned out to be just a waste of time. Within one week it looked like @#$%.

Thanks for the comments, I enjoy painting the shells and trying out new things to see what can be done, I don't mind that they get bashed, I just gives me the chance to do more painting.

so why drive since the tires are just going to get worn out? It just depends on what you like doing. part of the reason I got into the hobby was the building. I am shopping for a second R/C so that I will be able to have one tinkering and one running at any given point. For some people, the prep and build is as much fun.

and I like the body. airbrush?

the body is inkjet clear decals, designed on the pc in photoshop, applied to the inside of the shell, and then painted over. I have attached the design to this post incase you are interested in seeing it a bit closer

so you used one of those "create your own" decal sets? cool. I have been curious about those.

I found that you have to be careful about puting these decals on the body, the back of the shell over the engine does not take the decal very well due to the ridges, paint seems to seep under if you are not careful. but overall I think I would use them again.

I bought the shell from ebay, the SS decals that came with it included the SS logo, but you are right it is the savage 21.
