Engine Dies :-(
Hi Guys
I am after some help with the needle valve settings
The problem is the following, the engine fires up ok and will idle ok, but when I start to apply the throttle and get to about half throttle the engines bogs and then dies
Is this the low or high end needle - rich or lean
The engine is a Picco P3 Monster
Thanks again

RE: Engine Dies :-(
Generally, when the motor bogs and dies, you are too LEAN. I'd back out low and high speed to get them a little rich. Try 1/8 turns counterclockwise at first...or more if needed.
If you make it too rich, expect it to hesitate/bog, but it won't stall or cause harm. So, get it rich on both needles, and then try it. If she bogs but does not stall, you are not hurting anything and you can lean it out bit by bit.
Stalling tells me that you are lean.
