does anyone know the best way to get the old tire glue off the beads

I used a wire wheel on a drillpress it works grate and when you reglue it the ruber is ruffed up so the glue well stick beter.are you using shoe glue?

I know this isnt your question but the best kind of tire glue is black CA. It eats into the tire, the only way you will ever get the tires off is with a knife or somthing because it is strong. I also had a hole in my air filter neck once and put some black CA on it, did the trick.

acetone melts away tire glue, oddly enough it does nothing with dirt lol
