Don't tune for temps, use this guide and you will safely push the engine to it's max potential.

I have to ask, you drove off again without resetting your iphone. How did you capture your 51.2mph screen shot? Oh wait you had to edit the video.

My advice is get a clear shot of the number in question. Your last video does not show anything other than a blurry number. If you can get a clear shot.

Dont get me wrong your truck hauls esp for an old one, but the weight of it plays a major role. Im at 12lbs reaching 56, your at 9lbs. It just makes me wonder if my secret I hold is holding me back[&o]

if u dont believe me which i would understand y (a lot of ppl fake these things) i will make another run sometime soon and ill cut the zip ties while my friend is taping and so u can see it cleary

Sounds good, did you strip the spur at the end? When the clutch bell gets hot and you let it sit for a bit, the heat will transfer into a couple spur teeth and makes them soft. Then when you hammer it there is a chance that you can peel those heated teeth off along with the rest once the ball gets rolling.

Check your motor plate for cracks. Also check the bearings on the CB. Check the shaft the spur sits on, its common that they get bent. ALso check for any loose or missing screws all over the truck

Thats is normal, mine does it too on 2 of my savages.

I wonder if your tvps are bent, or you have a missing screw somewhere. You should give the truck a very good look over

do u think running rwd only would help top speed
my theory is that the motor has less to spin so less of load so it is able to rev higher

A lot of high speed cars only run rear wheel drive.

I have thought about running rwd but havent tested it for high speed runs. I have ran rwd plenty of times and its much harder to control off the line.

What kind of distance does it take you to reach 50?

What I mean is for me I can reach 56mph in roughly 175ft or less. How long would you say it takes you?
