Integy parts any good?
well don't get me wrong from the title,i haven't used any Integy parts so got no complaints about it,i'm just asking for advise.i was viewing their web for the first time though i heard them before,in search for some nice aluminium parts. i was pretty interested in their aluminium a-arms/shock towers.it's not that i don't know how the aluminium parts don't flex and would transfer all impacts to other parts such as bulkhead, nor that i don't know they're heavier. i just need a multy-hole shock tower to make my savage a bit more adjustable and allow for less down stop.and i assume with the aluminium a-arms my aluminium shocks shafts wouldn't bent that easily as with the stock flexible arms(i wasn't too hard at my car,but the shafts in aluminium shocks bent more easily than in stock ones when the truck bump into something which twisted a-arms).
so this is the first QUESTION:is alumnium a-arm so different that quite a lot of racer ran their savages with aluninium ones?and how much heavier will they exceed stock ones?
the second questions:do INTEGY carry quality aluminium parts? i saw around 1/3 of their products are actually made by 3RACING which i know to be moderate, not too bad nor so good.(www.3racing.com.hk)view this if you doubt that.what about others such as shock towers and a-arms?or any other brand recommended?please note it's better if they are carried by Towerhobbies which is the only one i know to send parts to China.
any suggestion will be appreciated,thanks!

RE: Integy parts any good?
I've never had any problems with my integy shocks. They are smooth and they've been really strong for me. I jump alot, nothing huge but alot, and they've always been up to the task.
How about those 3 stage shocks? I don't know who makes them but i've heard they're pretty good. I'm not sure if that's what they're called but they have like progressive suspension with three different springs on the shock shaft with different ratings. So depending on how hard you land you compress different springs on the shock. Anyone know much about these?

RE: Integy parts any good?
ive heard integy's shocks main problems are bending shock shafts...you can put the stock shafts in the integy shocks i think and im pretty sure integy made heavy duty one sin their shocks. you may want to consider the shock tower from rock concepts, you can put 4 buggy shocks on your truck instead of the 8 monster truck ones. rockconceptsracing.net also good chassis. they have adjustability and the ability to put the 1/8 shocks on there which is a big plus.

Have you considered the Fast Lane Machine stuff or Atomic RC? Do a search they have some nice stuff, they now have extended alluminum arms with dogbones and pins for 95 bucks...lifetime warranty too.
