Default Savage...erm...28

Hey guys, it's been a while since my last post, is richie eb4 still posting here?...anyway i wanted to ask a question of you upgraded guys, i have a savage 25, and i love it to pieces, about a month ago (after 2 months being a shelf queen) i took my savage out to start her up, and she would start fine but i couldn't get the revs, anyway to cut a long story short i had to go out andy buy a new gear box...the new pre assembled 3 speed, i have also bought a new .28 HPI engine while i was at it...and a new tuned ribbed pipe!...anyway i just wanted to know what kind of performance increase i can expect and if anyone has any stories, pictures or videos of their savages with this kind of mod, because i have got the 'needs running in but no time to do it' blues! thanks guys!

That new K4.6 has a ton of low-end grunt. You'll love it.
You might want to think about upgrading to an aluminum clutch. The stocker may not be up to the task of putting all that power to the ground. If you start losing spur gears, save yourself the headache and get a new clutch.
