I've always boiled them off, about 45 min on each side. However, some people have said baking them is much better.

Boiling works for me! Just make sure you don't burn your fingers on the boiling hot water that will be inside of the tire and foam insert.

Use CA DeBonder. Here's one from Great Planes but there are other brands out there..

The debonder is probably a good idea cause I tell you, you stink up the whole house when you boil tires and the pot is a mess afterward.

Well let me tell you... I HAD ENOUGH OF GLUE-ING TIRES TO RIMS!!!

The problem with me is I like to have different color and style rims. So transfering the glued tires to other rims is not acceptable to me.

I invested on 2 sets (8 rims total) on the Maximizers Beadlock (No-Glue) rims. I know they are expensive but the interchangability with various tire/rim combo is GREAT!!!

They have different colors, patterns, depth pattern, and material (plastic or alloy) faceplates that is really easy to chang via the the beadlock bolts...

Right now, I have 1 set for Off-Road with Tmaxx stock tires and 1 set with IMEX Road Dawg V-pattern (similar to the Proline) street tires.

I guess this is just me... Best investment I've made...

I want to get Maximizer Beadlocks--

I have heard they are very strong rims--- I like strong

I dont race i just bash so I really dont care how heavy they are!!

do you guys know anything about these Maximizer Beadlocks??

the black ones look really cool I think

and the fact you can change tires with out new rims will pay for it self in time!!

so are these Maximizer Beadlocks super strong??

I just bought hot bodies alumium hex nuts that screw on because the stock ones on my truck are slightly beat up the reason i need news wheels is because i did not tighten the nuts on the wheels so the wheel stripped rite off--- not cool

any body like the new era fuel tank gaurd they were on sale today 50%% off so I got one of those aswell

please let me know what the deal is with these Maximizer Beadlocks

what tires are good to put on them I want a big strong bead so contact with the bead locks--

I like serous mud, bashing tires,,, lots of serous grip

how about hot bodies tires??

will these maximizer bead lock wheels strip or get chewed up by the hex nuts??

do I want off set bead locks or regular ones??

what about there heavy weight

most of all I want them to be bulletprooff strong and not crack or strip---

The maximizers are not heavy at all unless you opt for the all aluminum ones. I have the pastic material and they are stronger. Just keep the wheel bolt tight.
I heard some are "doing the mix". All palstic except for the faceplate which is aluminum. These gives you a strong connection on the hubs while keeping the the overall weight down.
Any stardard size tires used on Savage and Tmaxx will fit aside from Proline and IMEX which require an adapter...

Hope this helps...
