Yeah, I saw that a couple weeks ago, and I don't know what to think. IT'S HUGE. They say it weighs like 7oz over stock but I don't see how. Either way it has a vinal tonau cover so thats cool!

if it converted to gasoline i would consider but a nitro engine of nearly any size would be a dog in that big truck.

It will be like a stock Savage fitted with big wheels + 170 grams , i think a decent .30 or .32 will do the job.
The problem is big tyres put so much stress on the bevel gears , when I fitted the heavy Big Joes tyres the performance was not that bad but it kept on stripping bevel gears very quickly.

skipstr's picture is without the chassis ... just body & wheels next to it... (I guess it's still work in progress)

Stock savage tires = 13oz each
Jumbo Kong tires = 29oz ... a Pound heavier EACH
They will shred a Savage drivetrain within minutes... ask me how I know this.[]

Yes guys.. There is no chassis under that body.. I do have a prject going with all aluminum savage parts with a 4" extention.. and I finally found the body for it.. Your right, jumbo kongs are heavy and would put a hurting on the savage drive train.. but I am easy on my trucks when not on the super ramp, and also this is a show truck and not a bash vehical.. There is no way a 1/6th scale rig can bash like we do with our savages...
