Default savage tires

As new member to the MT scene,I have some questions about the savage 25. First off with the stock tire-rim setup, how much off-set do they have? And how much can you get for the truck to widen the stance. ( I have the truck coming thru Unlimited Parts Supply= UPS). So I havent seen it yet. Also If you go the really big tires like 7-8 inch range would they over stress the drive train? Thanks guys

Stock savage wheels have no offset since they are after all,...stock!
But to answer your question,a set of pro-line 40 series wheels and tires are your best bet for increasing offset without adding a bunch of extra weight....Most all other wheel and tire manufactures seem to make their wheels and tires a bit on the heavy side, but Pro-Line however doesnt seem to have this problem....If your after looks aswell as off-set,then these are a good choise>

Best Basher Tire Ever> http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXDCW1&P=ML
But with the Che rims you will need to buy the well worth it 23mm hub adaptors here>

Now if your after some serious offset and care more about performance and weight than anything you need to check these out>

Without going to 40 series RPM make a range of stablemaxx rims that widen stance by approx an inch overall.

The dyeable ones are the cheapest.
