Well Im just wondering...Ive been looking at the El Camino bodey ALOT and basically every pic i seen of it has that blower on it...Is that an add on to that bodey or is it just shaped like that....Because on the hpi bodey home page thing they show it without and with it....Also pics are more than welcome[sm=thumbup.gif]

Its a seperate unit...You have the choice wether or not you want it on there...
Its OK I guess if your going with a "Street Machines" look I supose, but I dont like em on mine referably due to the fact that they seem to be the first things that break after a couple of roll overs..
Another thing that I dont like about them,is if your specific body comes with the blower option, the body its self has an outlined indent molded into it,so its easier to cut out the hole in the hood for the blower...But luckily its barely noticable when you paint the body if you decide against the blower mod..... Take care,Josh

Appreciate it.....I think I would like the blower if it was a bit smaller...IMO its just overkill....If/when I get it im not gonna put it on and go with like a glossy dark candy apple color with two black stripes[sm=greedy.gif]

I had the 'Cuda body for a while. Well, I've still got it but it's gotten so beat up I don't put it on anymore. I was always having to find the blower when it got ripped off and reinstalling it and hoping it would last for a little longer. After a while I put it on my T-Maxx and thought it looked better there, closer to fitting the truck I think.

How thick is that body?

My 'Cuda body took a pretty good beating before I quit running it. I will say that I don't like the bumpers not being part of the truck.

I don't have those wheels/tires on the GS SUT anymore, that was just temporary till I put dirt bonez on. The body is pretty thick and with bedliner on the inside its durable.

That's the nicest looking T-MAXX I've ever seen..
I have an El Camino on my LST2 - and as far as I can tell, because the motor is molded into the body, you might as well start out with the body, and then later, when it gets all managled, cut it out, and then insert the flat bit in its place(paint this I guess when you paint the bod..) Then you're where you would have been if you'd cut it out from the beginning..

Thanks..
BTW, I'd probably recommend going with (the more expensive) chrome for the blower, pipes, and bumpers, as opposed to silver. Silver comes out looking grey and cheapish..

Shock envy?
Jk..
To be honest, LST shocks don't impress me all that much.. I haven't even broken my truck in yet(winter..), so I can't say much about them. But they'll have to pretty d_amn good to be better than the stock Savage shocks on my 25.. Half as good would be acceptable - AS good would be downright surprising..

I think Gigacrushers are cool - but isn't that blower actually kind of a risk if it gets messed up - which, while bashing, is inevitable on a rollover or bad landing or whatever...??

nah not reli unless your doin full speed off a HUGE jump and land on it but anyway its held in by three body type pins on the car and you can pul the hole thing apart and restraightn it anyway. did it on my pops took 5min. there reli strong i can almost lift the whole truck up with it will post back other things bout it if u want(how it holds up)
