fuel for a new truck
I am awaiting the delivery of my first saveage .25( today,WOOHOO),I was just wondering what fuel qould be good to break it in with? I have 20% regualr airplane fuel and I also have 20% heli fuel which runs a higher oil content acct the heating issues we have when flying choppers. Or will have to buy more fuel yet for this truck? Thanks

RE: fuel for a new truck
You want a fuel with 20% - 30% nitro and 10% - 14% oil. If your airplane fuel has that you should be ok. Some will tell you not to use airplane fuel but as long as those two things are within range it will work fine.
The higher oil content in the heli fuel would be a detriment in the new savage engine.
