Default Upgrade engine, upgrade anything else?

Hey i just got a STS 28 engine, for my savage, i wanted to know if there are any parts i should replace on the rest of the truck.
I replaced the spider gears inside both differentials, one of them was stripped so i upgraded to the 4 bevel gear kit. Also some 30K weight oil, keeps the wheels almost locked, Motor saver filter, very easy to clean and reuse, also have a set of prolite mulcher tires. ( studded). Ive been told to upgrade the wishbone shafts. What modifications do you guys think i should upgrade for the best performance. I want to keep it legal for offroad racing at my Off-road LHS track. Thanks guys

LCG chassis is the most important upgrade if you race your savage. do you have the dual disc brakes? they are nice! short shock set-up is also good. check www.rockconcepts.net for the LCG chassis for savage.

if you want to race, and legally, stay in the .28 category.

Yeah, I plan on doing the LCG chassis before the spring race season begins. These short-shocks...are they really necessary? The suspension already has a decent amount of adjustability.
