I wouldn't think the two should even be compared. Once in a while a T-maxx will show up at our local track and usually go home broken up before the mains. Get the Savage and play hard!

The Savvy can take a beating. Only broke front dogbone, radio box and bent TVP's. 3rd gear WOT into steel security door. Go to the Tmaxx forum and find pics of the same hit and I bet mine came out better. Plus it looks more truck like not so toyish. I hate the Suspension arms on the tmaxx they look funny.

Around here 5 of us run together alot. Of those 5, 3 are tmaxx 3.3's and 2 are X's. The 3.3's are faster and corner better stock. The X's are alot tougher and can take the jumps better. One guy upgraded his 3.3 with RPM a-arms and it seems pretty good so far. If your just bashin', I vote for the X.

Fine, Savage for using everyday. Tmaxx for fixing everyday.
The tmaxx is a bit faster and better handling but is way weaker. The Sav is not quite as quick but a hell of a lot stronger.
I have had both, however i sold my tmaxx cause i got sick of fixing and upgrading it.
