As far as I know... you don't. The clear cover is for the 25 style box, and it's a good improvement. I would have recommended just going with that and keeping your current box.

well my current box has a broken front post, and i saw that x style and it don't have those.
but those front post are a b!tch.

I have to agree, the old style Savage radio box is a pain to get into. I thought about the Savage X radio box, and if I ever break mine I still might convert over to it. But I hardly ever open the radio box, so it's not that big of a problem.

Now the Savage X diffs... Oooh baby, thank you HPI!

diffs themselves are the same, but the bulkheads are where it's at. easy to remove the diffs with the X bulkheads.
