About 4mph
But that all depends on what gearing you choose. The SS 4.6 can get 8mph on the 25 with the right ratio..

I see. Thanks. I just bought a Savage 25 and i wanted know what the comparison is because i was thinking about getting a SS 4.6? I heard the 25's don't wheelie very much but the SS 4.6 pulls wheelies easily?

Hey Thanks! That just helped me out BIG TIME. I had no clue about how to tune and was just waiting for the booklet but this makes it so much easier to understand. you've been a huge help. Thanks again man!

I have the K4.6 and it has been a great engine but it came with my SS. For what the K4.6SS cost you can get faster more powerful engines for less money. When time comes to replace mine I more then likely will go with the STS .28.

The Savage 4.6 SS can do 74km/h, whilst the Savage 25 tops out at 62km/h.

I just got doing the swap in my savy, easy to do, and really impressed with results. I agree the tuning is the biggest factor with any of these engines, but out of the box and mild tuning the 46 is pretty sweet.

A S25 and a 3spd will hang with a 4.6SS and a 2spd. And yes, a S25 will wheelie.
