of the [link=http://www.hpieurope.com/kit-info.php?partNo=10822&lang=en]WHEELIE KING![/link]
looks pretty buch... but not sure about that tube frame, anyone know what sort of punishment this will take and if i can modify it to ride a little lower (it looks too unstable that high)

Yeah, electric isn't good for a monster truck, even a 1/12 scale. It does look good, but I think thats all it is, another release for HPI, and another can for collectors to put on thier shelf.

Guess I'll chime in and say I think it looks stupid too.. Maybe if it were REALLY cheap for driving around inside the house and chasing/crawling over cats..

Nitro power would mess this truck up, it's not intended to go blasting across a dirt field or around a racetrack at 30-40mph. Trucks like this are best in a fairly confined area, and this thing woud be right at home in the garden, backyard, or runnibng around the parking lot at work during your lunch break. I can't run my nitro trucks at my house, they are just too big, fast, and impractical. I also don't want to assault my neighbors ears with a screaming nitro all the time either.
Also, as far as looks go, this thing is more like a real monster truck than any of the nitro powered rigs. It will handle, jump, and accelerate more like a 1:1 monster than anything else HPI makes. I never knew how much fun it is to run something like this until I got my Mad Force. Solid axles are cool.
I also love the comments I've seen on this forum about it's bad handling... from Savage owners no less[sm=spinnyeyes.gif]
