Just bought a savy on ebay, used but new to me.

Was $305 a good deal? see here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...2584&rd=1&rd=1

I'm very happy with the truck. No problems at all. Only needed to adjust the HSN and it was running 220-230 all day.

So thought i'd share a short vid of the abuse I already put it through

here: http://www.topspeedtoys.com/media/TST-SampleV1.wmv

Guess what motor will go in as soon as the stock one dies?[sm=48_48.gif]

Looking good Mark! I just got done taking mine all apart cleaning and doing a full service as well as changing diff and shock oil. Not sure how long my stock 4.6 is going to run as I have well over 6 gallons on it but you know when time comes where I will be getting my new one.

I used to live in Whittier. I like it here in the valley better. Less busy and not as scary.

That looks like a good deal because of the hop-ups included. Mine came with a steering servo and that was it. It was $340. The servo was a Hitec HS-625 MG. Is that a good steering servo? It seems to work fine.

It is nice up there but I hope you don't have to commute to LA or Orange[X(]

Not sure on the servo's as I just got this truck. I'm sure I'll learn as soon as the originals go bad[&o]

I am sure down the line somewhere he will pass me again. I am playing with my new set up station right now. Need to get the 17mm adaptors so I can use it on my Savage as well as my buggy.

No, we do have to come down for family stuff sometimes, but we try to do it as little as possible. You can literally see the cloud of smog when you get to the top of the grapevine. I prefer my air invisible.

I prefer to live in the middle of nowhere in the midwest and smell cow dookie when it's hot out

but yes, i'd rather not be able to see my air, too, LOL

What are you trying to say about the air quality in Los Angeles? It's not smog what you see..... it's just a little fog that's all

LOL!!!

Fog comes from farmland, you can see it in my town. There ain't no farmland in L.A. (just a bunch of freeways, airports, and they all lead to Disneyland!!! LOL).

No Dyno tests, sorry[&o]

Some STS motors used to be in a database here: http://www.nitrodynesystems.com/Engine%20Database.htm
but not any more.

Good luck on the Jato hunting quest....

Is the project car ready?

Mark the web site you listed no longer has any STS engines on it. I asked a while ago what happen to the one of two they use to have listed never did get an answer.
