RE: SLipper Clutch Queries
[link=http://www.hpieurope.com/graphics/walkthroughs/Savage_X_Steel_Spurgear/SX_spur_12t.jpg]This[/link] is the slipper clutch. The pic is of the X dual slipper but i a slipper clutch is a slipper clutch no matter what truck it is. The way of adjusting this to get more wheelie action is to tighten it down all the way, also helps to get a lower gearing like say a 14/52 ratio. Other things you can do to get wheelies are to get lighter wheels and tires, add an extra spacer to the rear shocks, get a ribbed pipe (more torque) and make sure its tuned properly. You probably wont have much trouble getting the K4.6 to wheelie considering its a .28 so the stock 15/49 gearing should be fine and you dont need the ribbed pipe. Take the time to break it in properly and dont rush it, wait till about 1/2 a gallon till you start trying for wheelies but it might happen all by it self before that.
