There is no "proper one".
There are literally thousands of glowplugs you can use. Choose one which matches the style of driving you do. I have an OS glowplug, cant remember what number but it said, "medium temperature, ideal for on/off throttle control) which is what i do, so it works great.

I use O.S. A5 thay are a little cooler than O.S. #8. I have a question to, do you use a cooler plug in hot weather and hotter plugs in cooler weather or just opposite?

i use the same ones for my savage. now i have a Axial .28 there hpi med-cold plugs r4

For me... I've only used the Real McCoy MC-59's.... which is a hot plug and hasn't given me any problems yet. (just got my Savage in late Sept which is already cooler weather where I am... so I may have to change in spring/summer... dunno yet)
