as long as u keep the temp up your fine, put tin foil around the head and put a sock around, pre-heat the engine to about 190-200, then start it up, and try ti keep the temps abouve 190,

I partially ran my other car in in my conservatory with the door slightly open. Well to be fair i only really started it there and left on idle for about 5 minutes before taking it outside. Man the echos from the engine in a conservatory are LOUD!

Right on, is there an easy way to tell without taking the plug off?

what i do it, take off the exhaust amnifold. look into the port put the piston at BDC then i make a mark on the fly wheele that indicatesd the bottom. so everytie i'm done i rotate the fly wheele in the same posistion, and mark the wheele with a sharpie, so u can see it.

yup thats exactly how i have mine facing the exhaust, u might want to make it a little wider, because as soon as i shut my engin down i put it at BDC, it makes it easer to se if youtr out side or somthing
