Futaba come in all three (but I dont know if Futaba make AM sets anymore). If you were to buy a 3PM, 3PH, 3PK, etc, I think all of these are FM sets.
Now Futaba does has a 2.4GHz FASST module and receiver that you can use to replace the FM module on a 3PK. I do not know if the FASST module can be used on a 3PM (or other set).
