Default k.46 engine

hi lads im no noob to savages as ive had 4 before 2 with collari 30 engines and 2 with sh28 engines but i recentaly got a savage 46 ss new and ive been taking in out on the weekends to run it in ive now put 9 tanks through it and its idles fine and is nice and crisp top and bottom BUT where are these wheelies not that i want em it would jut be nice to no that is there its got standard 47 spur (nice and tight) and 17 clutch bell and alloy shoes mmmmmmmm running 25 percent big bang ,ive noticed the shims under the head 1 alloy 1 brass have any of you removed the alloy shim and id you notice any difference also what gearing you find best last of all have you noticed the lack of performace in this engine

My m8 removed those shims to raise comp and it had a tiny bit more poke but ran 10 times hotter, he's since put them back in, no need to ruin a perfecly good engine for marginal power gain.
