Default front diff weight x diff in std savage

i have a savage and I am getting the savage x diff to replace mine, because the diff cup exsploded. I was wondering what weight fluid should I use. the rear diff will remain stock till it exsplodes.

Does it matter that there are 4 gears in the x diff and 2 in the old one. Givin the fact that twice the gears will cause a differnce in resistance.

The 4 gear ones are better less chance of stripping.
