RE: Brake/Idle Problem
Kinda sounds like you got the throttle/brake linkage a bit out of wack.
When at idle the carb shoud be as closed as it's gonna get and braking should only push it against it's stop harder and not make anything move except the brake.

RE: Brake/Idle Problem
Do you mean when you brake, the engine revs up and your truck starts going? When you throttle, does the brakes go on? If so, check to see if your throttloe/brake servo switch is backwards on your transmiter.

RE: Brake/Idle Problem
the screw attatching the servo horn to the servo is too tight, so when you brake, the part of the servo horn that is for the brake moves seperate from the throttle, but when you go back to idle, it stays seperate (bc there is too much friction from tight screw so the spring does not have enough power to return it to normal), and your car takes off.
basically, loosen the screw on the servo horn
Hope this helps.

RE: Brake/Idle Problem
i fhe put it on the wrong side, it owuldnt accelerate when he pushed the throttle on the controller. Also, the engine would rev up WHILE he hit the brake, but its happening after he hit the brake. i am 99% sure that either the screw is too tight.
After you hit the brake, it acclerates when it should be idling. From what i figure, if you put the accelrator to WOT on your controller it should idle properly again, am i right. If i am, it is definately bc the servo head is sticky (screw tight, or some gunk in there)
