If you want aluminum shocks, I would just get the HPI upgrade shocks. They are the smoothest ones I have felt. I have had a few different sets for a Savvy, and just haven't been happy with them. Of course, I have never run the Integy's either.

Integys shocks are weak.
They work great but bend easily. If you put them 1 on each corner they seem to be ok.
I been running mine like this for about a year with no issues.

The best shocks I've seen for the Savage for hardcore bashing are the stock shocks. I've had the Integy shocks, and the shock shafts are really soft. I've tried putting a stock shock shaft into the Integy shocks, but that didn't work that good either. The one shock option I would recommend (although I have never tried them) is the LST shock conversion, but one reason I like the Savage is because it has those 8 super long shocks, and I haven't broken a plastic shock in about a year, so I have no need to get it.

I recommend Hot bodies high performance aluminium shocks

You can get some on ebay for about 1/2 the price listed here:

I'll be the odd one here. I got my Savage 2nd hand and it came with Integy purple shocks. A gallon later and they're still doing great. Granted I don't do insane 10 ft jumps and stupid stuff, but for just general bashing and goofing around they've been great. I guess I just got lucky.
