is the Savage X SS the same as the new RTR savage x? i wanted the kit, but if the rtr has something different i wanted to know, before i place my bid?


And what should i look and not look for when finding a used truck on the eBay?

No, they're not the same. I forget exactly what but someone here will chime in for me. I think one is the diff's, another is the spur gear, and 2 other things I can't remember.

x ss has a K4.6
x 4.6 RTR has a F4.6

the xss haves a K4.6 engine so bigger , not the f4.1 and have the metal spur gear , alluminium diff case , no radio and servos but if it's a second hand truck maby the guy will sell is radio too oh and the tire are better , lighter and all the other stuff are the same

i know what a kit is, i have done a few in the past, the rtr x has f4.6. but i saw a few diffs things, like fiber pads, and the rtr feature, so i think i might get the Kit!

i think the breaks and the engines are the only diff between the x ss and the x 4.6...oh tires are diff. also...and the exhaust...that maybe it. i still think the xss is the badest savage.
