Savage X and Pull Start...need some help installing
My hobby shop gave me pull starter part #1668...is this the correct one for a Savage X 4.1 engine?
Secondly, how do you recoil the spring? When I took the starter out of the package, the spring popped out [:@] I tried to get it in but its giving me some real trouble. Any tricks or easy way of doing this?

For the spring i suggest you wear some gloves, i've seen one of my friends get a pretty bad cut from one springing open between his fingers. The trick is to keep trying till you get it, there is no real trick to it but persistance.
