thanks for the link. i'll give it shot, however i still favor the FLM extended LCG because of the mod options available. for example the servo tray makes it easier to do the mid tank mod.

if i win this the hot bodies one, i'll just have to do some creative engineering

Or you could get a set of TVP's like mine. I used the Truckzilla dogbones and they fit perfect. If you look closly you can see how much extra space I have. I think a future mid tank mod will work well with these TVP's.

what about that monster truck with the two nitro engines . I think its called a giga crusher its even more expensive ....

why cant the manufactures just make a really big nitro monster truck to buy as a rtr instead of making us spend more money on aftermarket parts to get the big monster truck we want ?????????????????????????

it's a hobby, if i bought the biggest truck and it had no hopup options, i'd be bored with it in a week and would have wasted my money.

You can. It's the CEN GST. It's the biggest factory stock nitro truck that you can buy. It makes a Savage look silly.[8D]

I bought the Hotbodies Sportzilla kit for my SS 4.6, but I sold the crappy tires and wheels that came with it. I then added some Maximizer X-75 offset wheels and Moab 2K tires. With the extra inch in length from the extended chassis plates and 1.5 inch increase in width from the new wheels, my Savage is definitely at the same scale as an MGT or LST. In fact, I bought a JConcepts MGT Illusion body for it. The fit is perfect. Now, if only I could find the time to paint the thing and mount it. My poor Savy is collecting dust right now.

that too bad... this is more similar to what i had in mind. not too big but not too small. and would fit the true 1/8 bodies.
