Beefier Steering turnbuckles...Literally
I wanted to replace my steel turnbuckles with 4x92mm Titanium ones from Lunsford. However, our LHS only offered 5x92 and will take a couple months before they replenish their items.
Due to my impatience, I purchased the 5x92mm and I somehow found a way to install it on my savage. Check my pics! I was able to found parts from a Hobao Truggy upper arm set and 6.8mm Kyosho rodends.
With the new turnbuckles, it is even larger than the dogbone itself!

Nice, I should do something like that. Its amazing how I manage to break turnbuckles.
Ive done things that have sheared my Baja 5Bs turnbuckles in half :/

Never broke one, not even bent one. All i ever got as a problem with them is the plastic loop getting loose and falling off easily. Nice find though.

Nice find! But Ive also never broken one on my Savage. Only part that seems to break easily is the castor block and shock shaft once in a while. I'm planning to go CF turnbuckles from JDCarbon in time[8D]
