do you have the cb shimmed out? Is the cb almost touching the flywheel? Can you get a pic from the top?

The spring return is in the way...what's the space between the flywheel and clutch bell? It looks as though the clutch bell needs to be closer to the flywheel.

Try this: Flip your RR spur around so the back is facing forward. And then, shim your CB accordingly. If that does not help, gent the Nova engine mount so you can scoot your engine forward and backward to clear the spur from the CB.

A link to the Nova engine mount please?!

Nevermind I found it...adjustable both ways I see. Does it work good 'cause I prefer adjusting that and leaving my clutch bell alone...I spent a lot of time getting that just right. I don't find any on eBay. Where do I buy it?

The Nova mount is nice. You do not have to worry about shimming to scoot the CB forward; however, it can be a pain getting the mount position correct since the negine will shimmy left and right and forward and backward all at once. That is, until you lock down the screws.

I had the same issue. I removed the flywheel the slipped the collet off. Removed some material from the back of the collet (the large end of the collet that goes towards the engine block) with a file. Need to keep the back square when filling. Remove a little at a time. Keep checking the clearence. This will move the flywheel closer to the block (do not let it touch).

I had the same issue with the HPI vented cb I ran it like that with no issues. I recently changed to the fiber dual disk breaks though so no hitting issues anymore.
