RE: best bashing truck
If your looking for "the best bashing truck" then you've come to the right place. The savage is the most durable truck on the market while the revo is a racer. The LST2 is a good mix of both but the savage can take more abuse.

RE: best bashing truck
Based on durability reputation and parts availalbily I would say savage is the best.
But at the same time I would consider a GST and maybe even a mammoth mmt. They are quite a bit bigger trucks, and in my mind that usually makes for more fun bashing.

The Savage is the standard all other bashers try to acheive to. If the Savage wasn't around, I'd say the Losi Aftershock and the newer Losi "Monster Beetle" are right up there with the Savage.

any info you get on the savage forum will be biased, post it on the traxxas forum and you will get people saying the revo is the best, but you probably wanna hear good things about the savage so i'll be the 6th canadian to tell that the savage is the way to go .

RE: best bashing truck
There was an article in a rc mag about toughest trucks. The savage and MGT were the 2 toughest trucks you can get. The MGT was number one because it was easier to work on if something did happen to break. Both were about the same in toughness.

Check this out. Now this is cool! Losi just keeps banging out new trucks with the LST chassis.

RE: best bashing truck
Savage out the box is a brilliant basher.
I own a revo and my buddy has a savage, if you upgrade the correct parts on the revo it can be just as good, just dont land on the roof to much..... RPM a-arms and axle carries and then you are pretty much set. I am yet to get the rpm axle carriers, as the stock ones are dirt cheap. Get your suspension setup slightly stiffer, not too stiff though.
I have probably spent less money replacing broken parts on my revo than my friend has on his savage, but I can tell you driving the savage just feels like more fun, its savage

Let me add...for all out bashing...you'll want the original.
The X is fun for racing & parking lots...but for BIG AIR & major bashing, nothing compares to the SS.
One tuff mutha'..............
