Default savage x 4.6 breakin tank 1

hi i tryed to run in my savage to night and i had some problems it started up and then it got floded so i cleared out the exesse and then it restarted but did the same thing. how did you run yours in thanks jay

lean the hsn an 1/8 to 1/4 inch, that should solve your problem. keep an eye on your temps

i dont have a temp gun? is ther any other way of telling if the engine is to hot

As gamesbeer said lean it out a tad, you are running to rich, so after your HSN adjustment it should run better. It should run much better, if you still see blue smoke when accelerating you should be ok. Damage occures when enginge is running really good and fast the way you want it to, but no blue smoke. At that point your to lean and your temps are to high, there's not enough fuel to lubricate. So if you see puffs of blue smoke you should be ok, but you really need to get a temp gun. I hope that helps.
