Default HPI Hump pack?

I am looking for some good hump packs. I have heard people reccomend the 1200mah HPI hump pack, but are there any with a high mAh that are better?

You'll want something with around 1400-1600mAh to get good run times, but the 1200mAh HPI pack will also work. Here in Germany we have some very good 1400mAh hump packs made by LRP, but you will have many different companies to choose from.

I've heard that the Venom packs are not too good, but that is about it. I would also stay away from the Chinese packs, and maybe stick with the good brand name packs, even though they may be more expensive.

So Venom is good. What about Ballistic, Racers Edge, and Trinity? They all are the same amount.

I have 2 HPI humpbacks and they have long run times. I had an Venom also It was good until I also hooked it up wrong....same outcome as above. Chernobyl in my radio box not good. I got it out so fast that It didn't damage the radio box, but besides that it seems to perform well. The 3 other you listed all make good packs, Ballistic being a higher end pack.

I use 2600's in both mine. 1 cell fits where the reverse module goes,so if you have reverse ,better stick to th 2400.
