drill two holes in each foglamp and glue two ultra bright leds in each of them use standard 6v battery pack. the picture does not give the lights justice cuzz there is too bright in the room these lights are really bright and light the way when running in the dark night

Why would you want to put lights on your savage? Are you gonna use it in the night or something because it will be pretty damn loud and will freak out the neighbours. Theyll probally ring the cops as well.

i dont think he is going to run it inside of town. i have lights front and rear and i run it in the dark. without lights it would be impossible for me to drive the truck when i have time cuzz most of the time it is dark outside.

Just hook up some flood lights to your car cigerate lighter using a inverter. Thats what i would do.

This is something a bit different to LED lighting. Although I might just do what !jAsOfRaW! suggested with the floodlights and inverter.

EL wire is great, helps define the truck, but I think real lights work best. I find it's not so much being able to see the truck and where it is, but knowing where it's going.

I drive mine a lot at night, mostly because the sun is down by 5 and I want to run it usually around 6-7.
I go to parking lots, mostly schools where there are not a lot of neighbors anyway, and lots of curbs to build nice jumps off of.
But I broke a front dogbone last night, not fun...

where i drive no real size car can get there. lot of my driving is most of the time taking place on walking paths in a forest area. so the only thing i can see is what the lights from my car is lighting up. so if not for the lights from my car i wouldnt even know where to step down as it is pitch dark all around. and boy is it fun!!

yeah i wanted to get lights when i was at my LHS but they talked me into not getting them, im glad they did because they are a waste of money unless you plan on driving 80% of the time in the dark! i have 5 acres and neighbors dont care and i still dont drive at night! On special occasions i drive at night then thats when i plug my work lights, i have 2 1K watt lights mounted on a stand, you can find these at home depot and lowes for great great prices, mine was 50 bucks, they will lite up a HUGE area, i imagine if you had 2 of these you could light up a medium sized track.
just my $.02 If you want them get them.
