Get it broken in first, they are so tight at first that you will be getting blisters and broken cords for a while. Honestly if it were me i would sell it and get an LRP or picco, if its still new that is.

I just say that because I've noticed a big drop in popularity for STS. After I saw 2DmaxLST's post with the many STS engines he went through, including 3 D30M's, im convinced that its an engine to stay away from. Hopefully you will be lucky and yours turns out to be a good one, dont be surprised if it gives you trouble though.

Without a glow plug the pinch goes down to almost nothing on some engines. The D30M rev2 i think has the really tight pinch, not to sure about the first model. Which do you have?

Yeah I figured you got it from there. What are your feelings on it? Will you take a chance or get whatever you can for it? I do think you could get a pretty good price considering its got RB mods written on it. I really cant tell you much more about it though, maybe you should contact supertib and get his input. He used to be an STS guy all the way not to long ago but has recently switched over to picco and says they are much better in every way, like I've been saying since the begining .

Why didn't you buy the famous LRP Spec 3 engine everyone is talking about, or did you get the STS before it became so popular? When my stock K4.6 gets old, I'd probably get the LRP from reading about how people seem to like it so much. Oh, and when you bought your STS, what kind of dutys and fees did you have to pay to get it into Canada? Did you get dinged bad?
