Axial .28RR Spec 1S - Any Good?
Hay guys,
Being offered a Axial .28RR Spec 1S...
I dont know a lot about them, are they any good for savage, or only good for truggies?

The RR and Spec 1S are different engines, just so you know. The Spec 1S = a K4.6. They are OK, but there are better. The RR can be pretty decent and fast if you're lucky, but can be in a PIA too.. Mine ended up being pretty quick actually.. The Spec 1S was good too - very user-friendly, easy to break in and tune, etc.. BUT, kind of lacking on top end..(good torque though..)
I wouldn't pay a whole lot for either, and would rather have a Mach 427 or Sportwerks 26 in that kind of price range.
Amain has a %10 discount off everything, so the SW 26 is like $108...
