NiCad has a memory effect, if you try to charge it before the pack is 100% depleted, you will shorten the amount of charge the battery is able to hold. IMO they are the crappiest packs. NiMh are just regular packs I think, you can recharge anytime you need to[8D] lol I just saw your link, not going a little to high with with the Mah there dont you think? It has a 20amp discharge rate, I'm not too too sure if it will work[]

That'll be a really big pack. Most folks use 2/3A 1500mah 6v 5 cell packs.

But will it work. Thats the question. Or will it just blow the servos.

i will work electrically
it won't "blow"anything
20a discharge rate just means that it can provide up to 20 amps of current for short bursts
it is HUGE, 4"x2.5"x2.5" and almost 2 pounds
if you want to strap something that big to your truck, have at it...
personally, i'd just go to wall mart and buy 10 2500mah AA's and make a couple of packs myself
then just swap them when the first goes flat
if 1400mah is giving you two hours
a 2500 mah pack would give you 3.5 hours
2 2500mah packs will give you 7 hours or so
