Default Mid tank mod

Has anyone done the mid-tank mod using the stock X tvp''s with the FLM servo plate? if so could you post some pics and how to do the mod.

You can use their servo plate on stock TVPs...you just have to drill one hole in each TVP for the plate''s rear support. The front of the FLM chassis is the same length as stock.

From that point, there''s a lot of different mid-tank mods...

I know there is different mid tank mods but most of them I have seen people were using the FLM servo plate but never seen it done with the stock X tvp''s.

No prob...theres no reason why it wouldn''t work for you. The hardest part will be to make sure you drill the holes so the servo plate sits level, and that shouldn''t be too tough.

Yup, I did it, but only used part of the FLM plate. Check out my site at www.savagehowto.com for more info. There isn't a write up, but it'll get you started.

I did it also,but did not use the flm plate custom made my own everything...apart from tank and reciever and battery box.It cost be about $40 but alot of metal parts to protect the servos,mounting blocks etc...
