Default shredded 2nd gear

decided to do some cleaning and checking.
found this on the picco .26(was not getting 2nd)[sm=what_smile.gif]

i know you all like to see broken parts.

That same thing happened to me about 3 weeks ago. I thought that i was outta tune at first then i took the top off the tranny and found what you did.

this is the first one i see.
likely had something to do with the spur tightened down and the 6ft jump from the road to the grass.
thought it was the diffs at first then noticed it wasn't shifting.could hear the grinding like a diff and pinion.
no fun unless something breaks.keeps the lhs in business.

I have not been there yet, that means my turn will come Friday or Saturday. Seems like every time I post I have not had that problem, here it comes. That is okay though, I have spares.... BB

Ya thats what i did when i fixed mine was i bought 2 of them so i have a spare one just incase it happens again. I have learned to buy spares of everything now when i go to the LHS.

My nephew would take that gear and wear it with pride on his necklace for a couple of weeks.... if it came out of his truck. He is always toting around some recent carnage. BB

i do that, i used a force 26 case as a paper weight and pencil holder at school lol

Mine's been on my keychain for 3 1/2 years or so. Came out of a toasteD TRX Pro 15. Trust me, I have plenty more piston/con rods where that came from!
