RE: The most useful savage x upgrade?
Sorry but thats not an upgrade. But that was pretty funny. for a Savage X I'd probobly upgrade pipe but I'm not sure since I got an SS. Or something cheaper like Diff Oil (ofna) it would make it handle so much better around the turns with it in the front diff. I just put 50,000wt in the front and 30,000wt in the rear, gonna test it out real soon.

Team Losi Super Truck2 (LST2)
i think it depends on what you do, i am no expert but if you are:
racing: lcg tvp, wider stance, tires, pipe
bashing: shock conversion, rpm arms,pipe
i really dont know i think it really depends on your driving style and habits. get a picco p3 and better pipe along with wheeliebar.thats a good upgrade .
take your pick

i do agree also with rustlerbasher. just keep what u got, youd be suprised how much it can handle. i think the lst2's only advantage is that they say it handles much better out of the box. a savage can be made to handle very well , but lst2 is more trackready.

yeah, on the track I think the lst2 would be better. But in the bashing world, the savage is king.

a rpm center skid just so your not spraying your breaks and rear dogbone in dirt and leaving your tranny exposed to rocks, and a mg servo, other than that i haven't busted anything plasic

Really just have spare parts to fix as things brake.. Think that is the best thing to do.. Really sucks when your out and not even a full tank ran and you bust something...

RE: The most useful savage x upgrade?
The most useful and CHEAPEST savage X upgrade is 2 zip tyes, one around each bumper support to stop the top arm pins coming out in a big hit. After that it comes down to many choices and how you use your truck, and where you use it. Another pretty cheap upgrade is to double up on the Chassis plates, they are cheap on ebay, and having two on each side makes the chassis MUCH stronger and less susceptible to bending if you hit something SOLID . I like a longer wheelbase personally, especially if you are running a powerful motor, but std TVP's are CHEAP!
Good steering servo, Failsafe n offset wheels would be my next in line.
