Default Anyone heard of "BLING RACING"?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has used parts made by "BLING RACING". Theres a few auctions on ebay with their things.

Most importantly, I'm looking at differentials. Are they sturdy? How do they rate compared to genuine HPI parts?

Cheers.

go with the HPI HD Diff Cups #86827

The rest of the internals from HPI are fine.

I use bling racing aluminum clutch shoes. They work well with the 1mm springs (they also include 1.1mm springs) and they last quite a while. Check out www.rc-mall.net. They have the same stuff with cheaper shipping because they don't have to pay GREEDBAY fees! lol

Well, this is more of a fix than an upgrade. A ball bearing failed on my front diff, and kinda mangled up the stock plastic gear box. On top of that, due to the diff being unbalanced, it stripped my pinion gear (80631), and dented my ring gear (86030). The pinion will definately need to be replaced, but I reckon the ring gear is still serviceable.

So what I need to replace:
1) Ring gear 86030
2) Pinion gear 86031
3) Ball bearings B032
4) front gear box 85235

Then I saw this on ebay:
[link]http://cgi.ebay.com.au/GPM-X-BLING-F-R-GEAR-BOX-SET-SAV-D-P-FITS-HPI-SAVAGE_W0QQitemZ130207985474QQihZ003QQcategoryZ340 63QQcmdZViewItem[/link]

Which has all I need and more!! I know GPM is reputable, so no dramas there, I'm just a bit worried at the BLING RACING parts.

I live in Australia... so this hobby's a little bit more expensive for me than the yanks. Local stores are trying to sell me differentials (the alloy ones from Savage X 4.6) for $90USD. That's why simply replacing all my broken bits with genuine HPI parts is a bit of a challenge.

You can get complete diffs including the case, bearings and pinion gears on Ebay from sellers that part out trucks. Here's one:
