Default Much Better!

Finally got the XL project running pretty good. I went back to my favorite Blue Thunder Racing Formula 30% fuel, firmed up the suspension with firmer springs and I went from 30 weigth shock oil to 65. Also new Dynamite Max clutch shoes. Not totally tuned yet, but much better than that dismal maiden voyage. Oh I hate this AM radio setup only because I'm use to an FM set. Well here's the [link=http://s201.photobucket.com/albums/aa70/SportsFans77/?action=view&current=S_XL_C7a.flv]VIDEO[/link] ,and there's music! Did you here me I said MUSIC all the way to the end...well sort of

Thank Bro! They are Losi Aftershock shocks, with the IRC shock conversion mod kit.

That sucker has some firm suspension! I still think your clear body is cool, the sparsely applied tattoos are perfect. [8D]

What engine are you running? Doesn't sound like a 5.9.

I think you should paint the bumpers and leave the body clear.. It'll look like a glass body.. like all your mods are under a display case. This is a built custom truck right? leave a little to display with the clear body. But chrome or black on the bumpers would look cool.

Hey thanks KID_EVIL! I think I'll follow my wife's and BudBud's advice an leave it unpainted. I think I'll buy another and paint that one up, but I really like the clear.

GREAT taste of music. Its by far my favorite pillar song. Check this video of Halo 3 that I found on youtube with this song. Its absolutly SICK. [link=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egOsiaBCTyA]Halo 3 with pillar frontline CLICK ME[/link]

Put some phaltlines on that truck and it would be a killer street truck with the stiff suspension and low ride height.

Thanks electricnitro! Yup "Frontline" is my favorlte by PILLAR also. Their drummer is like the best out there. It fits my XL just right. I was thinking of going street only, but I wanted a turf ripper, and packed dirt screamer. I changed back to my regular fuel in this video and the retuning was driving me crazy. I think I have it now though.
