Not happy with Savage X 4.6 RTR

I had the same problem with my brakes when I first got it new, nothing I did would fix it. I found the screws that held the rotor assembly were backing out from the tranny housing, put some red loctite on and tightened, no probs ever again. Check it out.

Red lock-tite for plastic to metal contact? Red lock-tite is permanent, so if needed use BLUE lock-tite

Took the Savage out today. I'm getting her tuned in nicely. Bashed for about two tanks and no problems. If it continues to perform like it did then it will be my new favorite. As far as speed and handling it kicks my T-MAXX's A**.

Received my servo from HPI today. They also included a set of suspension arms even though HPI told me they were not covered in the warranty. Hats off to HPI customer service. I have ran my truck three more times and no problems. So after all is said and done I am happy I bought the Savage, It kicks A**.

Loctite 425. Used for locking plastic and metal fasteners; recommended for metal, nylon, polyester and many thermoplastic materials.

Upgrade is the way to go. My steering is working great with the Hitec 645mg. Call HPI if they send you a new steering servo you can put it in as your throttle servo. The stock steering servo is a little better than the throttle servo.
