Parallel Universe?
Tonight I was looking through a old rc mag I had form O3 and there was a article on the Savage .21 when it came out....well there was some pics of it and I noticed something wrong.
In that pic everything is opposite to where it should be, there is another pic of the truck from HPI and its sitting on a rock and you can see the tank on the left side where its supposed to be.

RE: Parallel Universe?
this is not the first time hpi/hb has done this, here on rcu NATHAN aka one of our admins not mods admin... did a review on a hot bodies dirt demon... http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/a...article_id=279 and if you look the 2nd pic with the body off is how its suppose to be, when looking at it from the front the motor is on the right and the servo's are on the left... but if you notice his is opposite.. so i wonder if that was back in prototype form....

They had a term for that and I cannot recall what it is. Basically as much as I enjoy pushing GraveDigger's buttons, he is correct. They used a negative of the image when formatting the newspaper or magazine page, in this case they have the negative upside down, which inverts the image, exactly like you would see looking in a mirror. It is a simple term and I cannot remember what it is. That truck image may have been supplied by Hpi... At any rate.. they set up their pages, then printed them. I am sure that they have all switched to computer generated lay outs and digital images by now.
Although, the idea of switching sideplates is kind of entertaining, they would have had to build a one off fuel tank to get the nipple in the rear on the right side of the chassis.

I work in advertising, the picture is just reversed. It's very simple to do and if you have a basic photo editor on your pc you can do it yourself as well.
