Default Stop Go Stop Go

My savage XL was running fine so I decided to get the transmission set because it was only shifting once, now when i run it it goes for a while then it stops then it goes then it stops. Does anyone know whats going on?

How does it do this? Does the engine go crazy or does it seem like something is holding the truck back? Try going back to stock settings for the transmission and make sure nothing is binding in the gearing or anywhere in the drive-train.

Did you tighten the nut on your slipper clutch?

Found out what the problem is, my receiver or radio is bad so when I would press on the gas the failsafe would kick in. I took out the failsafe and now nothing works, so I ordered a 3PM Fasst to replace the stock one.

Had the same problem long time ago. It was my crystals on the stock radio. I changed out to a different channel and the problem went away.

Also, make sure that the crystal is all the way in the receiver.

My crystals shook to bits in my XL before i packed it with foam to stop the vibration. Try this with a new rx crystal before your Fasst turns up if you wanna bash before then.
